My performing experience includes live and recorded performance in diverse and unusual venues, international radio and TV broadcasting, studio recording, live studio relay, backing orchestras, concert and opera performance, costumed, choreographed contemporary music in memorised performance at the Royal Shakespeare Company, and an appearance in the BBC radio series 'The Archers'.

I joined Orchestra of the Swan as Principal Cor Anglais and Co-Principal Oboe in 2005 and have performed with them as a soloist in the concert hall and live on BBC Radio 3.

Huw Watkins' out of the stillness for cor anglais and string orchestra was commissioned for me by Orchestra of the Swan, supported by the Royal Philharmonic Society and the Performing Rights Society Foundation for Music, in 2012.

I'm a core member of Orchestra of the Swan, and a guest freelance performer with other ensembles and independent orchestra contractors. I have the pleasure of working regularly with a small number of clients.

I write and deliver talks with live music illustration on musical topics for special interest Music clubs, supper clubs and U3A.
I'm a guest lecturer in Performance and Pedagogy for final year and postgraduate students at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, with a special focus on working with young people with learning disabilities and programmes for beginner instrumentalists.
